Each state now has local-level 2010 Census data on race, Hispanic origin, the voting age population and housing units. As required by law, the Census Bureau provided these key demographic data to the states (on a state-by-state flow basis) so state governments can redraw the boundaries of their congressional and state legislative districts. Internet address: <http://2010.census.gov/news/press-kits/redistricting.html>.
