Mark DomsPrior to his appointment as Chief Economist, Dr. Doms worked as a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and was previously in the Research and Statistics Division of the Board of Governors. He has wide experience with economic and policy analysis on a range of topics. His own research has focused on the effects of technology adoption and innovation, on firm productivity, and on housing market changes. Dr. Doms also spent time at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, and in the early 1990s worked at the Center for Economic Studies in Census. He holds a Ph.D in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and B.A. from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in mathematics and economics.
