Mountain Home AFB also has a Child & Youth Family Life Counselor on base for any issues a family may be experiencing involving children. This counselor can see children individually or with the family. Of course, everything discussed is completely confidential and no records are kept of the discussions. Our services are confidential with the exception of duty to warn circumstances. Some of the issues we address are: • Coping with the stress of deployments and reintegration • Job stress • Marriage and relationship issues • Single parenting challenges • Relocation adjustment • Sadness, grief, and loss • Communication skills Again, this is a confidential service, which means that we do not collect or record any personal information, unless there is a duty to warn situation.
