Washington, D.C. - Yesterday, Congressman Joe Donnelly was presented with the Small Business Council of America’s (SBCA) Congressional Award for his work on behalf of small businesses. Donnelly was the only Democratic member of the House of Representatives to receive the award this year.

“It was an honor to receive the SBCA’s Congressional Award,” Donnelly said. “Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and I’ve worked my hardest to make sure I am properly advocating for their needs. I will continue to make sure our small businesses succeed and thrive.”

The SBCA is a national nonprofit that represents well over 20,000 businesses, including retail, manufacturing and service organizations. Their primary goal is to enact favorable federal tax and employee benefits laws for small businesses and their owners.
