The presolicitation synopsis for this requirement was published in the FedBizOpps (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) on July 7, 2007 under the title, "Clinical Decision Support Services."
The Request for Proposals (RFP) is available for download (Select to access Downloading Information) and at the Federal Business Opportunities Web page: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Web sites where the RFP will be posted to learn about any amendments to the solicitation.
It is anticipated that responses to questions on the solicitation will be posted on or about August 8, 2007.
It is anticipated that 2 contract awards will result from this solicitation for a period of 2 years with the possibility for 3 one-year options to follow that.
Summary
This project is to support the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) in development and implementation of demonstration projects that advance the understanding of how best to incorporate clinical decision support (CDS) into the delivery of healthcare. The contractor shall proceed through several stages of development, to include Pre-implementation set-up, Implementation, Evaluation and Dissemination, as discussed in further detail in the RFP. Based on the contractor's understanding and execution of the base contract requirements, up to 3 options for similar work may be exercised by the government, as further discussed in the RFP.
