Casework

Rep. Van Hollen believes that an important part of his job as your Congressman is helping district residents who are having problems with federal agencies or federal programs. If you need assistance in dealing with a government agency, please contact his Rockville Office at (301) 424-3501. Below are some of the types of situations which the Congressman works with on a regular basis:

  • Social Security questions about benefits, disabilities, or a lost check
  • Immigration issues such as citizenship, permanent residency, and immigrant petitions
  • U.S. Postal Service problems
  • Internal Revenue Service problems
  • Passport expediting and other passport application concerns
  • Medicare billing problems
  • Military policy, procedures, records, or medals
  • Problems with Federal Employees' Workers Compensation

However, regardless of which agency you need help with, I need a completed privacy authorization form to comply with the provisions of the Privacy Act. Please click here for a printable version of the privacy authorization form and then fax or mail to the address listed under the agency from which you are seeking assistance.
