Rep. Erik Paulsen's (R-Minn.) staff in the Cannon building today went through a bit of an ordeal when water started gushing out of an office wall this morning.

At first it was somewhat containable, filling up those small recycling bins every 15/20 seconds, spokesman Andrew Foxwell tells us, but it "wasn't overwhelming." But then, things got worse. Five minutes into the shower, the water caused a hole two inches in diameter to burst open. People sprang into action. "We had runners, basically. People were transporting water back and forth," Foxwell says, into the closest option: the Congressman Paulsen's  bathroom.

Paulsen, for what it's worth, missed this ordeal due to still being in the land of ten-thousand lakes.

A giant recycling bin would fill up every 2 minutes or so. Water even shot out 15 feet across the room. Eventually a maintenance man came to fix the problem, but not before those savvy staffers threw this up on the web:
