I'd like to urge you, Congressman, to stand against ANY budget plans for fiscal year 2013 which include funding for the "Affordable Health Care Act". My thanks, in advance, as a constituent.

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts is the father of Reaganomics and the former head of policy at the Department of Treasury. He is a columnist and was previously the editor of the Wall Street Journal. His latest book, “How the Economy Was Lost: The War of the Worlds,” details why America is disintegrating In honor of those who lost their lives...let us fully investigate...the truth is more important than party, reports and not admitting mistakes. We need the truth or can we not handle the truth?

  2. Last night, American lives were lost in tragic and deplorable acts of violence. These murders are a stark reminder that, even as we seek peace and freedom, the world is a dangerous place. Unlike their attackers, these Americans were motivated not by hate but by compassion and duty. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families who have lost loved ones. Our hearts break for the families who have lost loved ones. The memory of their sacrifice must renew our conviction to preserve the blessings of liberty. You can read my full release here:

      • If you’re following me on Twitter (@RepStutzman), you already know the sad reality of today’s jobs report. August was the 43rd consecutive month with unemployment over 8%. Just last month, 368,000 Americans gave up looking for work, leaving...
us with the lowest labor force participation rate since 1981. The manufacturing sector, which is critical to our area, lost 15,000 jobs last month. Economists note that this is the slowest jobs recovery in recent history, producing fewer jobs than after any recession since WWII.

Here’s the saddest fact: it doesn’t have to be this way. The House GOP has passed 36 jobs bills that are still being blocked by Senate Democrats.

      • Rhetoric vs. Reality: The President has said again and again that he would tackle the debt and deficits. Sadly, he still hasn't. His budget received zero votes from either party and the Senate, controlled by his party, hasn't proposed a budget in 3 years. It's time for serious solutions to our fiscal crisis.
      • The national debt is now $16 trillion. President Obama told Hoosiers that he would cut the deficit in half but, instead of following through on that promise, his policies have added more than $5 trillion to the debt. Despite credit downgrad...
es, bipartisan warnings, and now $16 trillion of debt, the White House has consistently failed to offer a credible solution to this country’s economic crisis. My colleagues and I on the Budget Committee have offered an alternative to the President’s plan of runaway spending, tax hikes, and uncertainty. We’ll keep offering solutions to reduce the debt, lower taxes on families, and give small businesses the confidence to create jobs again.

      • I was on 93 WIBC this morning to discuss yesterday’s grim CBO report. Let me know what you think. AUDIO:
      • Sadly, today’s report echoes what Hoosier families already know: higher taxes and more deficit spending push us closer to more economic trouble. You can read my full release here:

      • The pro-life movement has lost a strong advocate for the unborn. March for Life founder Nellie Gray’s convictions and tireless efforts brought together hundreds of thousands of Americans. She will be remembered, as the next generation of pro-life advocates continues the unfinished work. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Gray family.
