  4. The portrait, by painter Kevin Gordon, was originally commissioned by the National Museum of Catholic Art. It was exhibited in September at the Museum at the Italian Embassy in Washington, D.C. where it was blessed by His Eminence Donald Cardinal Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington and praised by the U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See Miguel Diaz.
