NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - During the past week, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has delivered emergency supplies to help the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management (ADEM) sustain residents affected by the recent severe ice storm. "Our mission is to work with the state of Arkansas to provide all the help we can within the parameters of the emergency declaration," said Federal Coordinating Officer Mike Moore, FEMA's lead official in Arkansas. "So far, FEMA has been able to meet the state's requests for life-sustaining help."

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- As part of a major nationwide USDA-ordered recall of some peanut butter products suspected of being tainted, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management (ADEM) have taken precautionary and pro-active measures to reduce any risk to storm-affected Arkansans.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) today announced that Federal emergency aid has been made available for Arkansas to help Federal aid to help supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area struck by a severe winter storm during the period January 26, 2009, and continuing.
