Air Force Emergency Medicine Physicians treat everyone from Airmen and their families stateside to wounded Airmen on the front lines. Wherever you are, your sole mission is to help your patients, which means you don't have to worry about insurance approvals or costs. Additionally, in the Air Force, you'll be able to compete for fellowships in toxicology, emergency medical services and critical care as well as teach in a GME program.

To ease your transition into the Air Force, you'll enter a five-week training regimen designed to educate you on the ways of both the military and military healthcare. You'll participate in physical conditioning five days a week, leadership training and classroom studies.
