Landry Continues to Defend Unborn

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Jeff Landry (R, LA-03) issued the following statement after the House voted on his cosponsored H.R. 3803, a measure that would have prohibited abortions in our nation’s capitol after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

“Tonight, the House missed a great opportunity to protect the unborn. The District of Columbia Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act would have not only saved lives but would have also protected the health and safety of pregnant mothers. I am proud to have cosponsored and voted for this important legislation; and I pledge to continue to do all I can to save the unborn, promote the sanctity of life, and advance pro-family policies.”
