Mission

U.S. Africa Command Public Affairs helps strengthen national and international understanding of and confidence in USAFRICOM's mission; enhances the command's readiness and its ability to conduct programs and missions designed to promote a stable and secure African environment in support of U.S. policy; and fulfills the command's obligation to keep service members, the American people and the international community informed of its activities.

We endeavor to be the premier Public Affairs Office of all the Department of Defense's six Geographic Combatant Commands worldwide.    Transparency is achieved as we emphasize timely, relevant and professional news and information dispersal about AFRICOM and our African Partners.
