Like my wife, Sidney, and me, many families in Mississippi are blessed with a special needs child. When I took the Oath of Office to serve in Congress, I made clear my passion for working with those who are disabled on important disability issues.
Many Mississippians live in rural communities across the Magnolia State. This is why I have fought to help ensure that safe and affordable public drinking water is available in smaller municipalities.
This week, I had a chance to meet with the employees at Nissan in Canton and Genesis Energy in Natchez. One of their greatest concerns as manufacturers is the constant pressure of regulations coming out of federal agencies in Washington.
