8/20/2012 - MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. (AFNS) -- A team of pararescuemen with the 38th Rescue Squadron at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., conducted a water rescue exercise in the Gulf of Mexico on Aug. 14.

During the exercise, pararescuemen had to locate downed victims several miles apart and provide self-aid and buddy care as needed. The exercise tested the members' abilities to locate and rescue downed personnel in open water.
