An Introduction to Buy Michigan First Header
Governor Jennifer M. Granholm initiated Buy Michigan First to encourage Michigan businesses, including underrepresented vendor groups, to register with the State as vendors and bid on more than 1,200 contract opportunities valued at over $19 billion.

MI JumpStart Program
MI JumpStart is a new pre-registration program that will provide the State, cities, villages, counties, townships, school districts, intermediate school districts, non-profit hospitals, institutions of higher learning, or community or junior colleges in Michigan assistance from outside parties which may be needed to plan and implement projects, provide project management oversight, ensure accountability, transparency and compliance with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
New Solicitation Notification System
All new Department of Management & Budget (DMB), Purchasing Operations solicitations are now posted solely on the www.bid4michigan.com Web site.

A pre-qualification program that provides fast turn-around bids for the successful and efficient implementation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

• Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) Regionalization
Contracts cover janitorial services, rubbish removal, grounds maintenance, snow removal, and security guard services for state agencies.

• IT Master Vendor Program (MVP)
MVP procures information technology services for the State through pre-qualified vendors.

• Re:START
A pre-qualification program that provides fast turn-around bids for various hourly IT services.

• Veterans
