Briefly describe the types of volunteer activities you participate in for the NERRS. If you have a favorite volunteer topic or activity, please describe.
I have participated in reserve Halloween activities, BioBLitz, larval fish sampling, fish seining.
What life experiences led you to volunteer with the NERRS?
Birding with my brother and fishing for fun.
What is the most unusual or most unexpected thing that has happened to you while volunteering for the NERRS?
Growing aquatic vegetation at home and when people would come over they would ask why I was growing dirt under water. I only got 2 of the 4 trays to grow SAV’s.
What is your proudest achievement as a volunteer?
Being recognized at the yearly volunteer dinner.
