SANTIAGO, Chile (June 24, 2012) -- Under Secretary of the Army Joseph W. Westphal discussed the United States and Chile's longstanding partnership, the established Army-to-Army relationship between the U.S. and Chile, and hemispheric cooperation on the radio program Dimensión Internacional in Santiago, Chile.

The weekly program is hosted by Veronica Clarke, and features Chilean political scientist Guillermo Holzman.

Dimensión Internacional is a half-hour radio discussion produced by the U.S. Embassy Santiago-Chile. The program discusses national and international issues and reaches 800,000 listeners throughout the country of Chile.

While in Chile, Westphal participated in the 12th U.S. and Chile Defense Consultative Commission and visited with Chilean Army units throughout the country to expand relationships and increase security cooperation in the hemisphere.
