United States Africa Command is always looking for innovative, accomplished, experienced people who want to make a difference. However, Africa Command follows all current federal hiring and placement procedures and laws.

Active Duty Military Personnel
Positions with U.S. Africa Command are filled through the normal military assignment process in accordance with procedures for staffing a Joint Headquarters. Please contact your assignments or branch manager.

U.S. Federal Civil Service Employees
U.S. Africa Command federal civilian positions are filled through the federal government's competitive hiring process. Vacancies are listed at USAJobs.gov (http://www.usajobs.gov/).

Interagency Personnel
A small number of U.S. Africa Command positions are filled by current, experienced employees of other federal agencies outside the Department of Defense. Staffing those positions are managed by individual federal agencies. Please contact the agency directly.

Contractor or Non-U.S. Employees or Non-U.S. Citizens
U.S. AFRICOM does not post job announcements.
