9/28/10: COMCAST HACKERS SENTENCED
The Philadelphia RCFL (PHRCFL) supported the successful investigation of two hackers who disrupted Comcast's website. According to a press release issued by the FBI, Christopher Allen Lewis, a.k.a. “EBK," 20, of Newark, Delaware, and Michael Paul Nebel, a.k.a. “Slacker," 28, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, received 18 months in prison for conspiring to disrupt service at Comcast's website—impacting five million people a day and causing nearly $90,000 in financial losses. - end - |
