EIS Land Exchange/Road Corridor

Izembek national Wildlife Refuge was established to conserve fish, wildlife, and habitats in their natural diversity including, waterfowl, shorebirds, other migratory birds, brown bears, and salmon; to fulfill treaty obligations to provide the opportunity for continued subsistence uses by local residents, consistent with the purposes previously mentioned; and to ensure necessary water quality and quantity.
