Harland David "Colonel" Sanders

Harland David Sanders (1890-1980), also known as “Colonel” Sanders, founded the fast food restaurant Kentucky Fried Chicken. This release contains FBI documents from 1967, limited correspondence from Sanders, and a 1974 extortion threat against him.

Diana, Princess of Wales Diana, Princess of Wales, nee Diana Frances Spencer (1961-1997), was first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales. These two short files include a 1981 investigation into threats received by the Prince and Princess of Wales and security issues concerning Diana’s 1989 visit to the United States.

Tupac Shakur

Tupac Amaru Shakur (1971-1996) was an American rap music artist. This release consists of a 1997 investigation into allegations that extortionate death threats had been made against Shakur and another rap artist by a domestic terrorist group.

Jack the Ripper

In 1888, a series of unsolved homicides in London, England were attributed to a serial killer called “Jack the Ripper." In 1988, Supervisory Special Agent John Douglas of the FBI’s National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime performed an analysis of the case for the Cosgrove-Meurer Production Company. This release consists of his analysis.
