Daniel David "Dan" Rostenkowski
Daniel David "Dan" Rostenkowski (1928-2010) was a U.S. Representative from Illinois from 1959 to 1995 who served as chairman of several key committees in Congress. Following a scandal involving the House of Representatives Post Office, he pled guilty to reduced charges of mail fraud in 1996 and served 17 months in prison before receiving a presidential pardon.
