Yongsan stays strong through Typhoon Bolaven
YONGSAN GARRISON, Republic of Korea -- Typhoon Bolaven roared through United States Army Garrison Yongsan, but it didn't quite pack as big of a punch as was expected, Aug. 28. Typhoon Bolaven caused little damage, including a few power outages and fallen trees on the Army installation within Seoul. But USAG Yongsan's Directorate of Public Works quickly responded to those incidents by bringing back power to on-post residents and clearing the downed trees.
