  • University Fair on February 13
    The U.S. Embassy Rangoon and EducationUSA will host a University Fair on February 13, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Taw Win Center in Rangoon (7th Floor).  The fair will be an opportunity for students to meet with representatives from accredited U.S. universities and colleges and learn more about applying to American schools.   • U.S. Embassy Grants Announcement

    This announcement is to inform interested organizations about funding opportunities of grants up to $100,000. The U.S. Embassy seeks proposals from qualified organizations for sustainable projects that identify and respond to the needs of their communities, including enhancing opportunities for 1) advancing free and fair elections, 2) increasing capacity for advocacy, 3) building democratic capacity, 4) augmenting networks and 5) empowering women and girls. This initiative will channel through two funding programs: 1) the US Embassy Small Grants program and 2) the US Embassy Small Grants Program for Global Women’s Fund.
