National Gang Center
The National Gang Center (NGC) is operated by the Institute for Intergovernmental Research on behalf of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and the Bureau of Justice Assistance. NGC conducts research on street gangs, provides technical assistance and training to communities that are planning and implementing multistrategy approaches to their gang problem, and training for state, federal, and tribal criminal justice personnel engaged in gang suppression.
