Attorneys
ATF’s Office of Chief Counsel provides legal advice and services to the Bureau nationwide in support of programs and operations. Attorneys are located at ATF Headquarters in Washington D.C. and in field divisions around the country, where they provide legal advice and strategic guidance to Bureau leadership and work directly with special agents and industry operations investigators in the field.

Forensics
Forensic chemists and investigative auditors participate in processing evidence, conducting audits in criminal investigations, assist ATF special agents and investigators, and testify in Federal, state and local courts as expert witnesses.
