Grants for Informing the Public
APS annually awards several grants up to $10,000 to help APS members develop new physics outreach activities. Programs can be for traditional K-12 audiences or projects for engaging the public.

Historic Physics Sites Initiative
APS identifies historic physics sites in the U.S. Once a site is recognized for historic importance, a brass commemorative plaque is presented in an installation ceremony.

PhysicsQuest
A story-based activity that exposes middle school students to the fun and relevance of science. APS provides a free PhysicsQuest kit to registered 6-9th grade physical science classes, home school groups, science clubs, and after-school programs.
