Propeller planes are staging a comeback as airlines look to make savings over more expensive jets.

In the heart of France's aviation industry, Toulouse, a company jointly owned by the French and the Italians notched up record sales last year, selling 157 turbo-propeller aircraft to 18 different airlines around the world.

Al Jazeera's Peter Sharp reports from Toulouse.
