Flu activity nationwide is showing declines; however, activity levels vary from region to region and even from state to state. While flu activity may have peaked and be declining in some states, other states may still be on the upswing of their flu activity. This season began late and has been relatively mild so far, but it’s possible that sporadic influenza activity may continue for some time. During previous late seasons, activity has continued into May.
