Northeast Current Surface

- Stray to scattered thunderstorms will target Arizona and adjacent areas of the Desert Southwest Tuesday.

- Best chance for any significant rainfall will be near the Mexico border.

- A few showers may develop across the highs Plains of Colorado and New Mexico.

- Dry weather is on tap for the Northwest and coastal morning low clouds hug the West Coast.

- Lows will range from between the 30s and 50s across the Northwest to the 70s and 80s in the deserts.

- Highs will range from between 70 and 81 degrees near Canadian border to between 90 and 115 degrees across the lower elevations of the Southwest.

- The setup is similar midweek.
