Nancy O’Dell Launches Fun Kids App

As an entertainment reporter, Nancy O’Dell has traveled all over the globe covering more than her fair share of breaking news and Hollywood’s hottest stories. And now the mom is ready to share her love of journalism with her new interactive storybook app called Little Ashby: Star Reporter.

Centered around a cute cub reporter Ashby (named after O’Dell’s daughter) and her FUNtastic crew, each story follows the group of friends as they discover some of the greatest wonders of the world.

For example, Ashby’s first assignment sends her and the gang to see Santa (and his elf publicist!) in search of what the holiday spirit is really about.

Currently expecting her third child with husband Matthew McConaughey, Camila McConaughey says she’s experiencing pregnancy brain — but in a bit of a different way.

“I have to be careful when I’m pregnant, because my taste level changes,” the handbag designer tells PEOPLE. “To the point where, when I’m not pregnant, I’m like, ‘Did I really like that?’”

In fact, pregnancy makes the newlywed‘s designing duties somewhat difficult.

“It takes me longer [to create bags] when I’m pregnant than when I’m not pregnant, just because I need to make sure that I’m being true to what I like — and that it’s not just the hormones talking.”

First comes the sound of wedding bells, and next comes the baby rattle.

Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott and drummer Chris Tyrrell, who became engaged Independence Day 2011 and married Jan. 7 in upstate New York, are now expecting a child.

“Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY!” she wrote on Twitter Friday. “We feel so blessed!!!”

“Everything is brighter. Everything has a deeper meaning,” Scott, 26, previously said of her new husband. “He makes me feel more comfortable in my own skin.”

Connie Britton always knew she wanted to have a family — and she wasn’t about to let her single status stand in her way.

“I lost both of my parents within three years of each other and I kind of thought, ‘What am I waiting for?’” the Nashville star said during The View on Monday.

“The man will come and if I want to have my own kids I can do that, but I [knew] this was something I [wanted] to do.”

And after shining light on Africa’s orphan crisis, it didn’t take long for Britton, 45, to decide where she would find her first child. “I was going to do a documentary about Ethiopian orphans and spent a lot of time in orphanages there,” she shares.

“It was something I knew I always wanted to do — adopt from there.”
