GreenInfo Network is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that assists others in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and related information technologies. We work as a consultant to the many groups and agencies who engage us.
Created in 1996, GreenInfo works for 80-100 public interest clients annually, in California and the United States generally.
We support public interest groups and agencies of all types:
Conservation - land and ocean resource preservation and stewardship
Social well-being and public health - social justice, jobs, schools and education, community development and more
Environment - land use planning, pollution, energy, water quality
Foundations - systems for grant making and tracking, plus grantee support
Partnerships and collaboratives - GIS, data, and strategy for organization and communication
