  32. Kelsey

I would like information on integrating STEM into my middle school science curriculum. I currently teach 6th, 7th and 8th grade science.

How do you become an affiliate member?

  33. Scott MacArthur

My son is a Webelos cub scout and I am bringing forward the information on the new NOVA award based on STEM. Also, our public school system is currently collapsing in front of our eyes, so a coalition of parents is beginning to form to address the increased need for out of school organized learning. I am also very interested as my daughter is 12 and this is such a vital period for her brilliant mind to not loose the focus on STEM subjects if possible. Thank you so much for what you are doing.

  36. Jeff Parker

I am currently, initiating a STEM program involving science and mathematic while studying the topic of meterology. I have been in contact with the WeatherBug organization which markets advanced, for high schools, weather detection equipment such as anomometers, barometers, lightning detector, short-range (150 miles) radar along with other instruments. I am currently searching for funding for this equipment and computers, DVRs, monitors and related equipment. Can anyone make suggestion as to possible sources of grant monies for these items?

  37. Stacy Brown

I teach ESL/ELL & Spanish at the Middle School level & constantly try to incorporate science. In schools with a heavy English Language Learner population it is often misunderstood that they need hours of only reading/spelling/English and Science is often neglected. The academic language of Science is often mistaught. This is a huge focus for me in my teaching. I would love to know more/learn more & be part of a collaborative community that builds understanding & focus in this area.

  38. Yo

Also we like to be a part of STEM!
