Polluters Attempt to Undermine New EPA Standards
Last month, the EPA finalized standards to reduce toxic pollutants from power plants, thus helping to avoid thousands of premature deaths and contributing to a cleaner electricity system. The EPA is now drafting standards to limit global warming emissions from power plants, but fossil fuel interests are pressuring the administration to release weak standards that will do little or nothing to protect us from climate change. Let President Obama know we expect him to stand up to polluters.
