Oracle Tuxedo


Oracle Tuxedo is a key component of Oracle Fusion Middleware and Application Grid and provide a robust, grid enabled platform for developing enterprise applications. Product family has significantly evolved along with advances in computing technology to meet challenging requirements of today's SOA applications. With introduction of native Web services, SCA container, metadata driven development and introduction of Python/Ruby programming languages, Tuxedo provides a proven platform to develop SOA applications.


What's New
Oracle Tuxedo 11g release introduces three brand new products within its Tuxedo product line. Oracle Tuxedo Application Runtime (ART) provides the ability to migrate CICS and batch applications to run them on open systems like Oracle Tuxedo without any change in application code. Oracle Tuxedo Application Rehosting Workbench automates adaptation of COBOL program, conversion of JCL to batch applications, migration of data schema, and more. These products reduce cost, risk, and inflexibility of running CICS and Batch applications on mainframes. Oracle Tuxedo JCA Adapter enhances Tuxedo's hotpluggability by providing bi-directional service invocation with any JCA compliant application server.
