Processing, archiving, and distributing Earth science data at NASA Langley Research Center
NOTICE: Upcoming maintenance events:
  • January 9 through January 13, 2012:
    • The ASDC Java and HTML ordering tools will be unavailable starting Friday, January 6, 2012 at 3:30 pm EST.
    • The CALIPSO search and subset tool will not be available.
  • January 11, 2012, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm EDT:
    • The Data Pool, MISR order and browse tools, Reverb, and AMAPS will be unavailable.

The Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) at NASA Langley Research Center is responsible for processing, archiving, and distribution of NASA Earth science data in the areas of radiation budget, clouds, aerosols, and tropospheric chemistry.The ASDC specializes in atmospheric data important to understanding the causes and processes of global climate change and the consequences of human activities on the climate.
