With all the hype about to be unleashed on us technology folk at the CES 2012 show in Vegas this week, it will be hard for manufacturers to stand apart. ASUS is making a good run at it, unveiling yet another Transformer Prime model, just a step above the one launched in December 2011. This model is not meant to be a replacement model for the last Transformer Prime, but rather one that will serve its purpose for high-end users who maybe need a little more battery and resolution. Don't go throwing out the Prime you just got yet.

This Transformer Prime has a new back panel, which will address some of the backlash ASUS received over the GPS reception of the last model. Also, this model (TF700T) has 1920 x 1200 display resolution, which is over the 1280 x 800 resolution of the first Tegra 3 Transformer Prime. Aside from that, the specs are very similar, and just to be nice, this new Transformer Prime will also work with the same keyboard dock as the first Transformer Prime.
