6/10/2011 - Coastal Impact Assistance Program
The Assistant Director, Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program (WSFR), and staff will meet with the Texas General Land Office representatives on June 13 to discuss the transition of the Coastal Impact Assistance Program (CIAP) from BOEMRE to FWS-WSFR and actions to minimize impacts to grant recipients. 6/08/2011 - State Wildlife Grant Competitive Program
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced that nearly $5 million in grants will go to six state fish and wildlife agencies to help conserve and recover Species of Greatest Conservation Need (SGCN) through the State Wildlife Grants Competitive Program. (News Release)

5/20/2011 - Boating Infrastructure Grant Program
The Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program announces the publication of the annual Request for Applications (RFA) for the Fiscal Year 2012 Boating Infrastructure Grants Program (BIG), Tier 1 and Tier 2 on Grants.gov. The RFA will be open for more than 120 days through September 21, 2011.

5/17/2011 - Coastal Impact Assistance Program (CIAP) - Transition
WSFRP has begun working with State and local recipients to begin reviewing State Plans, grants and amendments in preparation for the October 2011 transfer from BOEMRE to FWS.
