Doug Kosty Assistant Superintendent
The Office of Assessment and Information Services supports ODE roles of accountability, leadership and school improvement through the development and maintenance of a technical and information infrastructure. This infrastructure has two major components. The first component is represented by data collection from and reporting on Schools, Districts and Educational Service Districts (ESDs). The second component is the design, development and implementation of student
assessments.
This unit focuses on Application development and maintenance; External Customer Support - categorization and routing of issues to system owners; Network and Server support; Data Security; Desktop support; and Video Teleconference Scheduling & Training.
ODE is currently working on several large integrated projects that continue to support progress towards the Oregon Diploma. Our Data Partnership page gives you a simple overview of the details.
