Boulder-based Standing Cloud, one of a growing number of Colorado startups specializing in cloud computing, says it has raised $3 million in new financing.

Televisions, computer monitors and smartphones display only a fraction of the colors the human eye can see. But thanks to a new technology developed by a Silicon Valley nanotechnology company, they may soon get a lot more colorful.  
 
Startup Colorado, an initiative aimed at company creation along the Front Range, publicly launches tonight in Boulder.
