Police Say Mother of Missing 2-Year-Old Boy Refuses Polygraph Test

Bellevue police said they suspect foul play in the disappearance of Washington state 2-year-old boy named Sky Metalwala, who was last seen by his mother inside a parked car Sunday.

The child’s mother, Julia Biryukova, told police that she had run out of gas and left him buckled into his car seat, sleeping, while she and her 4-year-old daughter walked to a Chevron gas station, about a mile away. North Carolina’s Campbell University Asking Students and Faculty to Stay Inside Because of Standoff With Armed Student

Shepard Smith just reported on breaking news out of Buies Creek, North Carolina, where students and faculty at Campbell University are being asked to stay indoors due to a standoff on campus. A university spokesperson said it began about an hour and fifteen minutes ago when police tried to serve a warrant on a student. The student subsequently barricaded himself in house and is said to be armed.

Megyn Kelly reported earlier that a phone call was made or attempted from the cell phone of Deborah Bradley at almost midnight on the night Lisa Irwin went missing. The call went to a woman named Megan Wright, who claimed publicly that the call was made to her phone at 8:30p, but new information shows that the call was received at 11:57p.

Former LAPD detective Mark Fuhrman joined Megyn Kelly on America Live and pointed out the fact that at the time the call was made, Bradley claimed she was drunk and ‘blacked out.’ (More…)

Michele Bachmann Calls for President Obama to Apologize to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

An exchange between President Obama and French President Nicolas Sarkozy in which they bashed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is prompting calls for an apology from the president.

Sarkozy was heard saying, “I cannot bear Netayahu, he’s a liar,” to which Obama retorted, “You’re fed up with him? I have to deal with him every day.”

The Obama administration is imposing a new tax–on Christmas trees! Just in time for the holidays, a 15-cent tax will be added to the cost of all freshly cut trees. The Department of Agriculture says that it needs the money to pay for a new program that is supposed to improve the image and marketing of Christmas trees.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: Iran Won’t Retreat From Nuclear Program

As reported on Fox News Channel, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has stated that Iran will not retreat from its nuclear program. Here is the latest from the Associated Press:

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad vowed Wednesday that Iran won’t retreat “one iota” from its nuclear program, denying claims that it seeks atomic weapons. Key ally Russia gave the Islamic Republic a major boost, rejecting tighter sanctions despite a U.N. watchdog report detailing suspected arms-related advances.

Israel called on the world to stop Iran’s nuclear program in response to the U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency’s report. The Israeli statement did not refer to the option of a military attack, Israel considers Iran its most dangerous enemy. (More…)

Judge Napolitano Weighs In on Implications After Appeals Court Upholds Health Care Overhaul Law

On Tuesday, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in favor of the Obama administration in a two-to-one decision that the individual mandate provision of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is constitutional. FULL TEXT: Penn State Head Coach Joe Paterno Issues Statement on His Retirement Following Child Sex Abuse Scandal

The head football coach at Penn State has officially announced his retirement, set to take place at the end of the current football season. Joe Paterno called the recent child sex abuse scandal and allegations against members of his coaching staff “a tragedy” and “one of the great sorrows” of his life.

Here’s the full statement:

“I am absolutely devastated by the developments in this case. I grieve for the children and their families, and I pray for their comfort and relief.

I have come to work every day for the last 61 years with one clear goal in mind: To serve the best interests of this university and the young men who have been entrusted to my care. I have the same goal today.

STOCK WATCH: Dow Slides as Italian Debt Worries Grow

NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks are falling sharply in early trading on growing concerns that Italy’s debt levels are unsustainable.

The Dow Jones industrial average was down 252 points, or 2.1 percent, to 11,918 five minutes after the market opened. The S&P 500 fell 29, or 2.3 percent, to 1,247. The Nasdaq lost 65, or 2.4 percent, to 2,662.
