Education Secretary’s Senior Advisor on College Access to Hold First Meeting of FAFSA Completion Pilot Project Sites

Greg Darnieder, senior advisor to the Secretary on the College Access Initiative, will convene the first meeting of the FAFSA pilot project sites – areas with a targeted focus on FAFSA completion – on Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 10-11, near Dallas.

Education Secretary Duncan Joins Mayor Gray and DCPS Interim Chancellor Henderson for Back-to-School Event at Sousa Middle School

U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan, District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray and District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) Interim Chancellor Kaya Henderson will kick off 2011 and the semester with a back-to-school event at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6., at Sousa Middle School.
