White will speak with rural educators and community leaders during Monday's meeting, organized by the Office of U.S. Congressman Phil Roe and the Niswonger Foundation.

White will also visit Greeneville High School and South Greene High School and hear from school leaders who are participating in the foundation's Northeast Tennessee College and Career Ready Consortium, which is supported by a federal Investing in Innovation (i3) grant. Niswonger is working with a consortium of 15 local education agencies in Appalachia to expand access to rigorous courses and provide new resources on college preparedness, college access, and the application process via college counselors.
