The Charter Schools Program has just announced a new State Education Agency (SEA) competition with an application deadline of March 18, 2011. Click here for a link to application information. CSP last completed a SEA competition in September 2010, when it awarded new grants to 12 states, which thus far total $138,005,068.


Program Description

The Charter School Program State Education Agency (SEA) Competition provides grants to a state’s Department of Education (or to a State agency serving the same function) to plan, design, and implement new charter schools, as well as to disseminate information on successful charter schools.
