Notary Public Educational Information Video
The Office of the Secretary of State has a Notary Public Instructional Video that discusses the duties and responsibilities of a Texas notary public, as well as notary application procedures for individuals wanting to become a Texas notary. Groups or individuals interested in obtaining a copy of the video may submit a written request to the Office of the Secretary of State, Statutory Documents/Legal Support Unit, P.O. Box 13550, Austin, Texas 78711, via e-mail lsu@sos.state.tx.us, or by telephone (512) 463-5558. The video is available in VHS and DVD format. Please indicate in your request the format preferred.
Copies of the video are also available at depository libraries throughout Texas as distributed by the Texas State Publications Depository Program. A list of the libraries is available at their web site.
