Claims Process - Individuals and businesses can make a claim against BP through an independent claims processor called the Gulf Coast Claims Facility (GCCF).

National Pollution Fund Center - If BP denies the claim or the claim goes unsettled for 90 days, you can apply for a claim with the National Pollution Fund which is handled by the U.S. Coast Guard.

Federal Disaster Assistance - Individuals and businesses can apply for federal disaster assistance including nutrition programs, business disaster loans, temporary assistance for needy families and unemployment insurance.

The U.S. Small Business Administration may be able to provide Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) - working capital loans to help small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives and most private, non-profit organizations of all sizes meet their ordinary and necessary financial obligations that cannot be met as a direct result of the disaster.
