Information on this page is highly varied, ranging from technical material to the number of Oregon Health Plan enrollees statewide and by county. The page also includes a history of the Oregon Health Plan, whose development began in the late 1980s and which was introduced Feb. 1, 1994. Follow these links to learn more about how the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) works and the people that OHP serves.

These reports summarize how the Oregon Health Plan is working.

  • Tobacco Cessation Services: 2011 Survey - This report provides a summary of how OHP's medical and dental plans provide tobacco dependence and cessation services to their members.

  • DMAP updates - See current month's overview of DMAP's administrative activities.
  • Evaluations and Comparative Assessments of Managed Care Plans
  • Key Performance Measures (KPMs): KPMs assess the OHP's effectiveness in meeting the DHS/OHA goals of keeping people healthy. Look up KPMs 25 and 26 in the 2005, 2006, and 2007 reports. The KPMs were renumbered to 29 and 30 in the 2008 and 2009 reports.
  • Physician Access Improvement Project Quarterly Reports: This project ran from April 1, 2008, to March 31, 2009. The following reports detail the progress of the project. - Coming soon
  • Physician Workforce Survey: This report provides a snapshot of the physician workforce, and in turn indicates the general stability of Oregon's health care system. 20042006 • 2009 report and errata 
  • Quarterly and annual reports - These reports provide an overview of what DHS and OHA have been doing to keep the Oregon Health Plan going.

 

OHP Standard Reservation List

 

The OHP Standard reservation list was open in Feb. 2008 to give Oregonians the opportunity to apply for OHP Standard, the benefit package for low-income Oregonians not eligible for traditional Medicaid. The progress reports provide information on who received OHP Standard applications and how DHS processed them.
