UOG Green Energy Career Expo and 60th Anniversary Showcase on Saturday, September 15!
The University of Guam invites the public to the Green Energy Career Expo and 60th Anniversary Showcase at the Micronesia Mall Saturday, September 15 from 10am to 3pm. Various businesses and organizations will have displays and information about the different "green" careers available in theRenewable and Alternative Energy fields.
At Center Court, UOG colleges and programs will showcase UOG’s rich history and current offerings. In addition, the Expo will feature entertainment from UOG Alumni, FREE giveaways, and raffle prizes. The Green Energy Career Expo and 60th Anniversary Showcase are part of the University of Guam’s year-long 60thAnniversary celebration.
UOG Students Write 2,977-Line Piece in Remembrance of 9/11
Twenty-one students and an instructor from the University of Guam have written a 2,977 line writing-piece which began on Tuesday, September 11 and was completed on Thursday, September 13. The piece, entitled “LineEleven,” contains poetry, drama, fiction and non-fiction writing. "LineEleven" dedicates one line for each of the 2,977 people who died during the September 11, 2001 attack. The project was led by UOG English and Theatre Instructor, Tali Ariav.
