The most important document in the process of ARRA grant funding is the contract or grant document.

Careful reading of the document is essential in understanding the unique grant requirements that ARRA legislation demands. Due to fast-paced timelines and the necessity of changing guidance, ARRA grants are not “business as usual”. Grant managers should not assume that ARRA grant documents are similar to those used in other types of grants.

We recommend that you stay in touch on a regular basis with any other agency included in your grant or contract. The Office of Economic Recovery and Investment is available to answer your questions.
